Key points of maintenance
- Generally speaking, the price of the environmental test chamber UV is higher than that of the conventional test chamber. To save costs and improve the service life of the product, the service environment of the test chamber should be in strict accordance with the requirements (8℃ -23℃). If the natural environment does not meet this condition, the temperature should be controlled manually to keep it within the standard temperature, such as equipped with an appropriate air conditioner, air cooling, and cooling tower (water cooling).
- In terms of human factors, usually the manufacturers of purchased versatile environmental test chambers will randomly go to the factory for operation training and safety training. The operators must be carefully trained to obtain more professional maintenance and repair experience and ability.
- The versatile environmental test chamber has strict temperature requirements, so the condenser should be cleaned regularly to prevent poor cooling or temperature rise. The general period is every 3 months.
- For the versatile environmental test chamber with air cooling mode, the condensing fan shall be checked regularly to remove dirt and dust, and to ensure good ventilation and heat exchange performance.
- For the environmental test chamber with water cooling mode, it is necessary to ensure that its water pressure, and inlet water temperature reach the standard value and water flow are appropriate, not too much or too little, and often decontaminate and remove dust to ensure continuous heat exchange performance.
- The environmental test chamber shall be cleaned every three months. If it is often used, the cleaning times can be increased. In addition, the cleanliness required for each sample is different. Due to the forced air circulation, dust particles will condense, so they shall be cleaned regularly.
- Due to the different working environments of the versatile environmental test chamber, a lot of dust and other small particles will condense on the annular fan blade and condenser fan. To ensure the cleanness of the environment, it is necessary to clean it regularly.
- Poor waterway and scaling of humidifier are easy to cause damage to the humidifier due to water shortage in the environmental test chamber. Therefore, clean the waterway and humidifier.
- After the test, to prevent damage to the environmental test chamber caused by the excessive temperature difference, set the temperature of the environmental test chamber to the ambient temperature, cut off the power supply, and conduct routine cleaning of the test chamber after about 30 minutes.
- If the versatile environmental test chamber is not used for a long time, it shall also be powered on frequently, usually every half a month, and the power-on time shall not be less than one hour.
- When the equipment is not in use, cover it with dust cover to prevent dust from entering. In addition to the maintenance of the above special components, do not disassemble them blindly in case of any fault during use. Consult the manufacturer first to handle them according to the instructions or directly return them to the factory for repair.
