Flame Temperature Calibration Device 500W

Flame Temperature Calibration Device 500W

Description

Product Description

This calibration device is designed in accordance with ASTM D5207-03 and related IEC, UL, GB standards for measuring flame temperatures in combustion test equipment.

Calibration Procedure:
Position the copper block 55±1mm above the needle flame burner.
Ignite the flame; the time for the copper block temperature to rise from 100°C±2°C to 700°C±3°C must be 54±2 seconds to validate the flame for testing.

Perform three measurements, allowing the copper block to cool naturally to <50°C between tests.

Reference Standards
ASTM D5207-03: Standard Practice for Confirmation of 20-mm (50-W) and 125-mm (500-W) Test Flames for Small-Scale Burning Tests on Plastic Materials.
GB/T 5169.15: Fire Hazard Testing for Electric and Electronic Products — Part 15: Test Flames — 500W Flame Apparatus and Confirmational Test Methods.

IEC 60695-11-3: Fire hazard testing for electric and electronic products — Part 11-3: Test flames — 500W flames — Apparatus and confirmational test methods.
