Der Abriebfestigkeitstester für Druckfarben wird hauptsächlich eingesetzt, um die Abriebfestigkeit der bedruckten Farbschicht von Druckerzeugnissen zu prüfen. Das Standard‑Reibpapier wird in den Reibkopf eingelegt, die Oberfläche des Prüflings wird mit vorgegebenen Geschwindigkeiten, Drücken usw. abgerieben, und anschließend wird das Ablösen der Farbschicht am Prüfling beobachtet.
