L’appareil de mesure de la résistance au frottement de l’encre est principalement utilisé pour tester la résistance à l’abrasion de la couche d’encre imprimée sur un support imprimé. On enroule du papier de friction de taille standard autour de la tête de frottement, puis on frotte la surface de l’échantillon à une vitesse, sous une pression et selon des conditions spécifiées, avant d’observer si la couche d’encre de l’échantillon se détache.
