Constant temperature and humidity testing is vital for environmental reliability. To ensure accurate results and equipment safety, Haida Instruments provides these essential guidelines for test samples:

  1. Sample Shape & Safety

Liquids: Must be securely sealed to prevent leaks.

Flammable/Explosive Items: Strictly prohibited in standard chambers. Special modifications are required before testing.

Rubber Products: Place on a tray to prevent melting and sticking to racks during high-temperature tests.

Small Parts: Use solid trays to prevent them from falling through the standard perforated racks (approx. 5x5mm holes).

  1. Sample Volume

The 1/3 Rule: Test samples should not exceed one-third of the chamber’s internal volume. Overloading obstructs airflow, leading to uneven temperature and humidity distribution.

  1. Sample Placement

Center Positioning: Place samples in the middle of the chamber.

Clearance: Do not block the top air ducts or place samples directly on the bottom. Adjust rack spacing based on sample size and quantity to ensure uniform exposure.
